The CTD Mobility Enhancement Grants are Open Again

The Commission awarded five Mobility Enhancement Grant Projects for approximately $600,000.  There is still approximately $1.1 million available for future projects.   The Commission is providing an additional opportunity for ALL (Urban and Rural) Community Transportation Coordinators to submit an application for the Mobility Enhancement Grant Program. 
It is important to note the grants awarded for this second opportunity will be available for projects to begin January 1, 2017 and end June 30, 2017 (6 months).  Proposed projects and budgets should be based on six (6) months of services. 
Application should be submitted using the updated forms.  These updated documents are also available on our website.

Please make sure to follow all of the instructions contained in the manual.  Applications must be received by the Commission no later than 5:00 pm on October 11, 2016.  Electronic submissions will not be accepted.  Please contact your project manager if you have any questions.

JTA Wins APTA Outstanding System of the Year

JTA Wins APTA Outstanding System of the Year

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority won the 2016 “Outstanding Public Transportation System Achievement Award” from the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).  The category was midsize transportation systems, of which there are 326 in the country.  The award was given in Los Angeles, California at the 2016 APTA Annual Conference.
